Founded by popular demand and grown by word of mouth.

As experienced tech leads and senior developers, we understand what it takes to get projects across the line. We founded PortBlueSky on the back of severals years’ work as freelance consultants, where our clients kept requesting we hire “more people like yourselves”.

When we tapped into our networks and contacts to build a team, we realised that we excel at identifying and retaining great tech talent. We know how to speak to developers but also deeply understand the business needs of our clients—allowing us to bridge the common gap between technologists and business leaders.

Started in Berlin, we quickly expanded to London & Warsaw and now maintain a remote-only network of team members across Europe. Until today, we’ve retained our hands-on approach to leadership: Our directors love work on cutting-edge technology like AI to keep honing their skills.

Dr. Andreas Lubbe

Andreas Lubbe / Co-Founder

Andreas is a former CTO of a high-frequency adtech solution and a big data real estate data aggregation platform, as well as a McKinsey alumnus.

He supports clients in becoming category leaders by designing and implementing world-class digital solutions and ensures that PBS identifies and maintains the best technical talent to support our clients. Andreas holds a PhD in Mathematics from Oxford University and Masters in Management from London Business School.

Svenja von Holt

Svenja von Holt / Co-Founder

Svenja is a former Head of Product and Design, entrepreneur, user experience and product expert. When not working hands-on to build digital products or services, she consults businesses on agile, lean and customer-centric product development methods and works as mentor and coach.

She combines the best of the lean start up, agile and design thinking approach to create customer-centred products and services for large, multinational corporations and banks.

Adrian Skierniewski

Adrian Skierniewski / Managing Director

Adrian is a seasoned software development leader with over 14 years of experience in backend development, DevOps, and database management. As a former lead developer and DevOps specialist, he brings a unique technical perspective to his role as Managing Director.

He leverages his deep expertise in CI/CD, Test-Driven Development, and scalable architecture to ensure PBS delivers high-quality, reliable digital solutions. Adrian is committed to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, empowering Agile teams to achieve exceptional results for our clients.
